Homa Abdollahi

Homa Abdollahi (b. 1986 Tehran) received her bachelor in painting from Shahed University and her master’s in painting from Alzahra University in Tehran. Following the change of residence through constant journeys and moves in her life, Homa Abdollahi has always been interested in the connection between a person and his/her place of residence, and humans' efforts and interactions to protect it. With the focus on abandoned spaces, half-finished buildings or structures at times, and on nature at other times, these efforts and interactions have shaped the main axis of her work. Abdollahi has held four solo shows in Tehran and Shiraz and participated in several group exhibitions.
