I often see photos of nightingales and flowers, mountains and plains, distant and near landscapes, and similar photos.
I find a kinship between my mother’s photos and my own paintings and drawings.
I flip through the photos of my mother’s memories from her youth for the umpteenth time and wonder in my imagination. I have wandered to all those places. This place is familiar.”
