In this edition of The Window Project, a triptych drawing titled “Damavand’s Shoulders” by Negar Asadi (b. 1974 Tehran, Iran) is on display.
The origin of the artist's pointillist drawings dates back to 2020. For the artist, each precise dot functions as a beat—a profound reflection on every second of life. Towering over the Lar plain, the vast, mesmerizing presence of Mount Damavand became the source of inspiration: “a place where silence, resilience, beauty and historical depth are felt on Damavand’s shoulders, offering me a space for quiet and reflection.”
