O Gallery presents “The Washed Light”, a solo exhibition of works by Mina Ghaziani (b. 1962 Babolsar).
The starting point for the creation of the collection on display was the experience of “being” in a garden in a distant geography and it took three years for the artist to complete.
In order to avoid any sense of nostalgia and memory recollection, the artist has chosen the plant life of a distant location.
And what’s essential in her work is what happens on the surface of her paintings, initiated from a point in the outside world. Layers play an important role as she considers the partial appearance and disappearance of the elements crucial in portraying a world that does not belong to a specific place and time.
