O Gallery presents "Resonance", a group photography exhibition by Sara Abbasnejad (b. 1983 Ahvaz), Sana Ahmadzadeh (b. 1988 Shush), Saaede Doostbekheir (b. 1986 Tehran), Zahra Motallebi (b. 1999 Isfahan) and Shima Rastin (b. 1992 Arak).
"Resonance" is an exhibition of five photographers who have individually captured a series of works between 2017 and 2022. In this collective experience, by separating the photographs from their context and eliminating the artist's primary intention, the central theme of each collection has been sidelined; and in return, the dynamic resulting from this displacement is expected to be the outline for expression and encounter. During this experience, the medium of photography, which has always worked as an alternative instrumental rendition of reality, is manipulated as counter-reality, in order to disrupt and reconstruct the narrative.
