O Gallery presents “Fading Away”, the first solo exhibition of works by Shirin Heidarinejhad (b. 1990 Boushehr).
In the collection on display, taking advantage of Mezzotint and Monoprint techniques and inspired by the darkness of the past years, with the intentional presence of light and shadow against the darkness of the image, the artist tries to address traces of people who have either just left the scene or are about to enter it. The dusk created in the images indicates the uncertainty of time and place of a scene that despite the clear signs of civilization, is deserted and uninhabited.
