Press Release

When it started, Covid 19 was not just a disease but rather an extensive global lesion that changed the life cycle and stopped many daily human activities in various aspects. Cyberspace played a more fundamental role and gradually became the only vehicle for social concepts and communication.
As a result of home quarantines, without masses of people and vehicles out, the atmosphere of cities became more visible. Rapid unorganized constructions, with no attention to the environment and natural landscapes, created a dull habitat around us and set down complex, unpredictable environmental, psychological, and social consequences in cities.
The works on this collection began in March 2020, following the global quarantine, and were designed and woven with more conscious and in-depth attention to the mass and ungraceful buildings in Tehran.

This collection is a tribute to those who remained and those who left.
