Niloofar Lohrasbi

Niloofar Lohrasbi (b. 1984 Tehran) received her master’s in painting from Azad University of Tehran. Inspired by the visual aspects of the Nomadic lifestyle (such as the desert, the vast horizon, natural colors and materials), Niloofar Lohrasbi tries to emphasize on the abstract perception of this lifestyle. In this context, rather than lines being made by the joining of dots, what’s at emphasis in Lohrasbi’s drawings is the creation of dots through the crossing of lines. Lohrasbi has held four solo exhibitions and numerous group exhibitions in Iran.
