Azarakhsh Asgari

Azarakhsh Asgari (b. 1982 Tehran) points to her concealed and clear issues; and targets her personal or non-personal concerns with a carefree and leisurely attitude to narrate a comprehensive whole. In her paintings, she morphs her personal narratives into images, using collages and patched images, sharing her direct autobiographical experience with her viewer by presenting the image of herself, without emphasizing it as a self-portrait. She has held two solo exhibitions and numerous group exhibitions in Iran, UK, Kuwait and Belgium.
